WAR HORSE the film is to be released January 2012
Steven Speilberg filmed War Horse on Dartmoor, and during that time two of the main characters Emily Watson (Rose Narracott) Peter Mullan (Ted Narracott) and Art Directors stayed in the cottages at Old Tavistock Railway Station. The National Railway Heritage Awards 2011 were presented by the new Lord Mayor of London, Alderman David Wootton in the illustrious Merchant Taylor's Hall in Threadneedle Street, London this week.
This year Old Tavistock Railway Station, owned by Colin and Jenny Rogers are the proud winners of the award for the best restored railway station.
