Short Breaks

Mid week and weekend short breaks are available throughout the year. Weekend breaks are three nights from Friday to Monday, (Saturday to Tuesday in the Ticketing Hall) and midweek breaks are four nights, Monday to Friday (Tuesday to Saturday in the Ticketing Hall) prices from £350.

Special Occasions

We can help make anniversaries, birthdays or other special occasions even more luxurious by supplying champagne, wine, flowers or an organic hamper of local produce. Your own personal chef can be pre-booked, to cook dinner within the comfort of your cottage.

Groups

The Station is ideal for groups of friends and families. Each house has an enclosed and private section of the old platform. This area can be opened to be an even larger space, (should two or more houses be booked), ideal for a family barbeque. The possible house combinations are:

• The Ticketing Hall + Refreshment Hall sleeps 10 + 2 cots
• The Ticketing Hall + Refreshment Hall + Porter's Office sleeps 14 + 3 cots
• The Ticketing Hall + Porter's Office sleeps 8 + 2 cots
• The Porter's Office + Refreshment Hall sleeps 10 + 2 cots (The platform will remain divided for this combination).

Family Holiday

The Station is a fantastic place for a traditional family holiday, there are a myriad of things to do in the cottages and close by. There are beaches, forest, waterfall and moor walks, pony treks, glider flights, go karting, golfing and cycling adventures to be enjoyed. Parents can enjoy a child-friendly holiday and have a wonderful time themselves.

Children & Babies friendly holiday cottages in Devon

Our holiday cottages are baby and child friendly. A babysitter is available and can be booked prior to arrival. We will happily provide a complimentary cot, highchair and stair gate upon request.

There is a small-grassed area at the front of the station, which offers wonderful views of the moor and town. Each house has a private fenced section of the old platform where children can safely play.
